GoodCooling Y30 – The Titan

The heavyweight for maximum cooling into every corner. The Y30 is suited to large businesses and cools an area of 150–250 m² – using natural evaporative technology, with no chemicals and no complicated installation. With up to 23,000 m³/h of air flow and a weight of just 50 kg, it is the most flexible model for large areas.

Running electricity costs

The Y30 has a power rating of 1.1 kW. According to the data sheet, ten operating hours under full load cost around 1.65 euros in electricity. A comparison with air conditioners can be found in the electricity cost comparison, and profitability in the article Calculating payback.

Y30 or Y20?

Both models are designed for 150–250 m² and have 1.1 kW. The Y30 has a 130-litre tank at 50 kg, the Y20 300 litres at 84 kg. The model comparison helps with the decision. For smaller areas, the Y5 and Y15 are better suited.

How long does one tank of water last?

How many units do I need for a hall?

Does the Y30 work in muggy weather?

In high humidity the effect is smaller. Regular ventilation helps, see Evaporative air coolers and humidity.

How does the GoodCooling cooling unit work?

Our units cool the air using a simple, natural process known as the adiabatic process: water is filled into the tank and a pump distributes it over the natural honeycomb cellulose filter. Warm air is drawn through the filter, and as the water evaporates it draws heat from the air – cool, fresh, clean air comes out.

How sustainable are the units?

Our units reduce the CO₂ footprint and are equipped with highly efficient technology to save water and energy – ideal for sustainable cooling. The air is also cleaned of particles.

Can outdoor areas be cooled too?

Thanks to our innovative technology, our units can be used indoors and outdoors. Indoors, you get the best results even with open windows and doors.

What are the running costs?

Running costs vary depending on the model and use. For example, the Y15's water consumption costs approx. €0.32*, and the Y20's electricity consumption at full load costs approx. €1.65 for 10 hours.

How long does delivery take?

We generally have enough units in stock. For larger orders, allow a delivery time of 2–6 working days.

Are delivery costs included in the purchase price?

The price excludes delivery costs. These depend on the delivery zone and are calculated in the cart. For collection: Breitenleerstraße 77, 1220 Vienna, Mon–Fri 8:00 am–4:00 pm.
