GoodCooling Y20 – The Powerhouse

Maximum performance for large spaces. The Y20 is suited to large businesses and cools an area of 150–250 m² – using natural evaporative technology, with no chemicals and no complicated installation. With a 300-litre tank, it is the model for long operating times when the unit is to stay in a fixed place.

Y20 or Y30?

According to the data sheet, both models are designed for 150–250 m² and have 1.1 kW of power. The difference lies in tank and weight: the Y20 has 300 litres of water at 84 kg, the Y30 has 130 litres at 50 kg and a higher air flow of max. 23,000 m³/h. If you move the unit often, the lighter Y30 is more flexible. If you need long run times per fill, you will be happier with the Y20. More in the model comparison.

Do I need an installation?

No. The Y20 is plugged into a socket and filled with water.

Can the Y20 stand outdoors?

Yes, the model is suitable for indoor and outdoor areas, for example events or company yards.

How does the GoodCooling cooling unit work?

Our units cool the air using a simple, natural process known as the adiabatic process: water is filled into the tank and a pump distributes it over the natural honeycomb cellulose filter. Warm air is drawn through the filter, and as the water evaporates it draws heat from the air – cool, fresh, clean air comes out.

How sustainable are the units?

Our units reduce the CO₂ footprint and are equipped with highly efficient technology to save water and energy – ideal for sustainable cooling. The air is also cleaned of particles.

Can outdoor areas be cooled too?

Thanks to our innovative technology, our units can be used indoors and outdoors. Indoors, you get the best results even with open windows and doors.

What are the running costs?

Running costs vary depending on the model and use. For example, the Y15's water consumption costs approx. €0.32*, and the Y20's electricity consumption at full load costs approx. €1.65 for 10 hours.

How long does delivery take?

We generally have enough units in stock. For larger orders, allow a delivery time of 2–6 working days.

Are delivery costs included in the purchase price?

The price excludes delivery costs. These depend on the delivery zone and are calculated in the cart. For collection: Breitenleerstraße 77, 1220 Vienna, Mon–Fri 8:00 am–4:00 pm.
